Production management for animation, particularly in relation to stop motion/mixed-medium animation and influencing the animation industry to support new, diverse, and unique voices.
Professional Experience
Casey Follen is a Los Angeles-based creative producer with Michigan roots. Through her creative practice, Catalyst Castle Studios, Casey specializes in stop motion animation and sculptural illustration. Her work is often design-driven, kind, colorful, and infused with handcrafted charm. Casey is also a founder and project organizer of Animation Wild Card, a project that compiles episodes of independently animated shorts, while also working to strengthen the connection and collaboration of the animation community.
Casey has previously worked in NYC, Portland, and Los Angeles at other animation studios in production management roles for clients such as AT&T, Honda, Mattel, Hasbro, and Epic Games; on features/specials for Netflix, Paramount, and Warner Bros; as well as on shows including Ask the StoryBots, SuperMansion, and Robot Chicken.
